Jessica Watson
Head Coach| Hi, I'm coach Jessica! This is my 12th year coaching with the Cardston Skating Club and I love it here! I began skating in Lethbridge when I was 6 years old and spent many years testing and competing, both individually and as a synchronized skater. In 2016, I achieved my Triple Gold testing status and went on to pursue coaching full-time. I'm now a Provincially Trained Coach with 10+ years of experience teaching, working in sport administration , and serving on boards in various skating organizations across Southern Alberta. Along with coaching, I enjoy spending time outdoors, playing card games, and being with my family and friends. Here's to another great skating season! |
Lesli Coleman
Assistant Coach| Hi, I'm coach Lesli! I grew up skating in Cardston and when I wasn't skating, I was thinking, watching or dreaming about it. I assisted coaching during my skating years and achieved my gold levels. I was head coach in Cardston for the 1996/1997 and 2001/2002 seasons. I'm married and living in Magrath where we raise our five children. Coach Jessica has taken me under her wing as I get back into coaching and is my hero! I'm so grateful for her support and thrilled to be back on the ice! |
Leah Bevans
Assistant Coach| Hi, I'm coach Leah! This is my second year coaching and am looking forward to getting back on the ice. I have been in Cardston Skating Club since I was 3 years old. It is so cool to now be coaching here. I love the opportunity to be able to share my love of skating. I have enjoyed getting to know the kids and watching them progress in their skating skills.
